Our guys did very well at a local BJJ Competition Lordz Of Pain. Winning two golds and one silver. Here the details:
White Belt 66 kg (Gold)
James took home the Gold by submitting all his opponents and taking the final with a "Flying Armbar".
White Belt 88 kg (Gold)
Marc, despite the age of 42, submitted all his opponents except winning the final by points.
No Gi 66 Kg (Silver)
Ian amazed us by getting into the final only to be beaten by points. Not bad for a guy who trained only for three months.
White Belt 77 Kg
Farhan won his very first fight by ten points but lost in the second round to a tough opponent.
No Gi 66kg
Alex was ahead by points from a beautiful takedown but was caught in a well planned triangle choke at the end of the round.
Nevertheless, a job well done guys. You guys made us proud.
