Richard may have got Bronze but the sacrifice he made for his fellow member is worth a Gold medal itself. Richard and Ben (fellow training member) have proceeded to meet each other in the semi final. Both not wanting to tire each other, Richard volunteered to bail out. Knowing Richard as a perfectionist and avid competitor, it is very very big sacrifice on his part.
